Pricing Policy


At Xpert Find, we aim to provide an efficient, fairly priced service for our Tradesmen. We are proud to distinguish ourselves from our competitors with our low, no risk, transparent pricing.

The following outlines the fees and payment terms for Tradesmen who use Xpert Find's service.


Pricing

For Trade Professionals registering on the site there is:

Lead and Job Alert Fees:

Once registered on the site, a Tradesman will receive email and text alerts with details on newly posted jobs that match their skills and are within their preferred working location. These alerts will include:

These alerts will be free for any month in which a tradesmen purchases 2 job leads. If the Tradesmen does not purchase 2 job leads in any month they will be charged a token fee of 50p for each job alert they receive that month. Even if the Tradesman opts to receive job alerts via email and text they will only be charged 50p for each job alert. Whether the tradesman buys the lead is their decision. If the Tradesman opts to receive text alerts they will be able to purchase the lead on the go by responding via return text.

The Lead Fees are determined by the customer's perceived value of the job. There are 3 simple price points with no additional hidden charges.

  • £5 (one credit) for jobs under £250
  • £10 (two credits) for jobs between £250-£1,000
  • £15 (three credits) for jobs over £1,000
These costs are in GBP and are exclusive of VAT, and will be individually quoted in advance of your decision to purchase so you are never in doubt! When customers are unable to confirm their estimated cost, we will choose the middle price range of £10 (two credits): simple, but fair.

Unlike many of our competitors, we do not charge you to register on our site or when you win business.

In order to start using our services and receiving details of jobs posted, we do need to validate your card details. We reserve the right to review our fees from time to time. Should there be a need to amend our lead fees we will notify you 30 days prior to change. And, of course, it is your decision every time whether you choose to buy a lead.

How to Pay:

When you register with Xpert Find you will be asked for details of a credit/debit card. The card details you provide will be stored on a secure server and any future job leads purchased by you will either use existing credits you have purchased or use the stored card details automatically. You can access invoices for all your transactions from your secure area on the site.

You will not be charged for any lead until the job details have been released to you. This helps to avoid the rare situation where a customer may choose to cancel a job between them registering the job and up to 3 tradesmen purchasing the lead.

What are credits?

You have 2 options of paying for job leads: using credits you have pre-purchased on the site or paying for each lead separately at the time of purchase. Each credit will cost you £5 +VAT. The number of credits you need for each job depends upon the estimated value of the job:

Why pay by credit?

Credits can be bought instantly on the Xpert Find site in your own secure area using your stored credit/debit card details.

Buying credits up-front ensures you are always able to purchase a lead even if you have issues with your stored credit or debit card.

As an appreciation for your loyalty to our service, for every ten credits you purchase on-line, we will give you one credit for free. What's more you do not have to purchase all ten credits in one go. You get your first one credit free when you have cumulatively purchased ten credits, your second for free when you have cumulatively purchased twenty credits and so on. Remember, just one credit could get you a free lead.


Payment Terms

In order to ensure you can always purchase the job leads you want, we ask that you ensure your card details are valid and that you have sufficient funds available. If, at any time, you need to update or change your card details you can easily do so by going to your profile within your secure area.


Good Faith

We know it can be difficult at times to remember to update card details, for example, if the card has expired. We also appreciate how important it is for you to be able to purchase a job lead. Therefore, in the unlikely event a payment fails when purchasing a lead we plan to provide you with the lead in good faith - we reserve the right not to, but we believe good relationships are built on mutual trust. We will contact you to let you know you are in arrears and that you need to amend the card details. As soon as you have amended the card details we will re-process the transaction for the amount outstanding. You will be unable to purchase any additional leads whilst your account is in arrears and we do reserve the right to suspend your account if you do not repay the outstanding amount.


Refunds and Cancellations

You can cancel your membership at any time.

If you have any remaining unused credits, we will refund the value of these credits you paid for, not including the free credits you were awarded.

Any outstanding balances from leads or job alerts will be charged against your credit card on record at the point of your cancellation.

Refunds on job leads already bought will be at the sole discretion of Xpert Find, but if we find a payment has been taken in error we will refund the amount immediately.
